I've just spent four days in Malaysia with other Young Ambassadors like me from the UK and SE Asia to develop our leadership skills and get more people involved in sport.
I had to work in a group with seven others to organise and run a one day sports and culture festival for 300 primary school students.
The trip was a life changing experience - it introduced me to new cultures and I made loads of new friends. The highlight was when the primary school children said they wanted to be like us. It was fantastic to know that we had made a difference in their lives, no matter how small.
Now back in England we are shortly going to start talking with other schools in the area to discuss the possibility of organising a similar festival for local primary school children, to get them excited about sport and culture too.
