A Christmas tree was delivered to the school from the Winter Olympic Host City of Lillehammer as a token from one Host City to another.
The children were just so inspirational. When I came here today they were just so excited, singing their carols. They had spent a lot of time designing their decorations and writing their pledges for 2012 on them.
As soon as I switched on the tree lights, the kids spontaneously asked for a race. So we went to the playground and had a run around. Did I let them win? Well, there are a lot of talented kids out there.

The thing is the kids are excited about 2012, but they want stuff happening now. So it’s great that we can have activities like today - and all the other opportunities that will happen in the build up to 2012 - to keep them interested and inspired about the Games.

May I say to the Children of London Please live by the code of the Olympics as you grow up live in harmony with one another, we are all Gods Children and know one is any better than the next one. We should all enjoy this wonderful time that only comes around every four years, (mores the pity) Lets pretend that it is the Olympics all the time, if only we could feel this way about people with a different colour skin, or relegion, I pray that I shall be around for the year 2012. Tell your Parents not to worry about the cost of the Games, if it brings people together as friends for only 4 weeks, it will be worth it. I am talking from experience, as I was a Volunteer at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and still have friends from there, from across the waters from England and America, and other parts of the world. I am getting excited and know that I shall not be attending as a Volunteer as I would love to, owing to health problems, but I shall be there in spirit, and cheering the Londoner's on. and keeping in touch with the help of my E Mail News Letters, that I am always pleased to receive.
God Bless every one and I do wish you all a very Happy Christmas, and hope that God will give us Peace in the World for 2007.
