Be relevant

• Try to keep your comments fairly brief. Long, rambling comments make the blog difficult to use.
• We only want people to post comments on the blog relevant to the entry. So, if you have a complaint or a comment about anything on the website, please email us.

Keep your comments clean, civil and tasteful

• Don't use profanities or other offensive words.
• No defamatory comments which might damage the reputation of a person or organisation.
• Do not make multiple postings, so that we can publish comments from as many different people as possible.
• Don't keep posting the same message, or very similar messages.
• No advertising, promotion of products or services, or posting of web links (URLs). But if you know of an interesting web site, do let us know.

Keep within the law

• Avoid contempt of court. That means not posting anything that risks prejudicing on-going or forthcoming court proceedings.
• Avoid breaking a court injunction (for example, naming an individual or speculating as to their current whereabouts after a court has issued an injunction against doing so).
• Be original – don’t post things you have taken someone else.
• No personal information relating to yourself or any one else – for example, address, place of employment, name of educational establishment, telephone or mobile number, email address.
• Do not impersonate someone else.
