WORLD CLASS
At the 2009 Chinese National Games, she challenged the world record, at the time, for the snatch lift with a weight of 148kg. However, it was not written in the world record books as the lift did not occur in a world, continental, or Olympic competition, and therefore was not recognised by the International Weightlifting Federation [IWF]. However, she did set an official world record with her aggregate of 328kg at the 2011 World Championships in Paris, France. (CCTV, 20 Oct 2009; muping.gov.cn, 16 Apr 2011)
