Injuries

In 2009 she received a Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta medal for her sporting achievements. (anitawlodarczyk.com, 2011)

She set a new world record in the women's hammer throw of 77.96m when she won the gold medal at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, Germany. She improved the record again in June 2010, when she recorded a throw of 78.30m at a meet in Bydgoszcz, Poland. (european-athletics.org, 11 Feb 2010)
