Start of sporting career
He first began swimming with one of his three brothers at age seven. He briefly contemplated football, before joining the swim club 'Club Nautique Albatros de Friville'. IMPORTANCE OF STUDY
At age 16 he was spotted by Amiens coach Michel Chretien, who wanted him to train full-time. His mother agreed, but not until he had finished his high school diploma. Two years later, with his studies completed, he began full-time training. (ladepeche.fr, 27 Jul 2011)

BEST FRIEND
Fellow Amiens and national swimmer Melanie Henique says she and Jeremy, who joined the club a year after her, are best friends. "I don't know what I would do without Jeremy.
