MISSED OUT ON BEIJING
He won the gold medal in the trap event at the World Cup in Belgrade in June 2008, equalling two world records in the process. Despite this effort he was unable to book a place at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. "I had missed the quota place very narrowly. It was very painful to sit outside and watch the games," he said.
