General
MOVE TO THE TRIPLE
In 2005 she joined the Cuban national team on the European tour but after a shortage of long jump competitions her coach, Milan Matos, suggested she try triple jump. Her early results were promising so she started competing in both. "I trained for the triple jump when I was younger but I never thought I would do it again." (IAAF, 08 May 2007)
REALISING A DREAM
