PLAYING IN EUROPE
In his first stages as a professional he played in Guadalajara from 2001 to 2006. Then he moved to Europe, where he played for PSV in the Netherlands from 2006 until 2009, and with Fulham in England until 2011. On leaving Europe to return to Mexico he says the desire to return home played a role in his decision. "It's just that some periods have to end. I was not happy at Fulham, not even in Europe, even though everything was fine, I missed home and that's why I've returned." (excelsior.com.mx, 13 Dec 2011)
