RETIREMENTS AND COMEBACKS
After winning the beam at the 2006 European Championships she retired due to knee problems, but in 2007 she returned to competition and helped Romania to a bronze medal at the 2007 World Championships in Stuttgart. In December of that year she retired again because of medical issues. After a four year break she returned to training in 2011 and made her comeback to competition at the national championship, where she finished with two gold and one silver medal.
