ALMOST RETIRED
She almost retired from the sport in 2004 at the age of just 22 because of injury problems with her hip. She consulted doctor after doctor but nobody could help her. "I had serious thoughts about stopping. Even if it would have been a very hard decision." (IAAF, 17 Jul 2007)
