WORK AND SPORT

NATIONAL FIRST

EARTHQUAKES
He was in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi, when the area was hit by an earthquake and subsequent tsunami in March 2011. He considered withdrawing from the Sydney World Cup event which was scheduled shortly afterwards as his family and friends were involved in the relief effort that followed the earthquake.
