WAR EXPERIENCE
He moved to Zagreb from Vukovar as a refugee in 1991 after the fall of the city in the Croatian War of Independence. "I hope to return to Vukovar when my career ends," he said. "When the war started I was only three years old. With my mother and brother, I was in the basement until the 19th of November 1991 when we were exiled.
