General
RUNNING TECHNIQUE
Speaking about the fact that his left foot will stray outwards on landing during running and this could be deemed a flaw in his technique, he says, "Everyone has their opinions and there is just certain stuff you can't change. Our hips face inwards so our knees face inwards and the leg sways outside, just to explain that in a nutshell." (nytimes.com, 13 Mar 2012)
COMPARISON TO USAIN BOLT
On being compared with Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt he says, "I don't get excited by comparisons. Usain has traits that make him special and I have some that make me special, so I don't really compare myself to him. I'm comfortable in my own skin, I don't need to be called the Usain Bolt of the four hundred metres. I prefer the Kirani James of Grenada. That's ok with me." (telegraph.co.uk, 21 Sep 2011)
