HEAVY METAL SYNCHRO
At the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, she and pairs partner Elise Marcotte performed their routine to a melange of two fast-paced songs, Master of Puppets and Enter Sandman, from heavy metal band Metallica. "It's pretty cool for our sport,'' Boudreau-Gagnon said. "It's new. Everyone in the rest of the world really thinks Metallica is a great routine physically. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
In March 2006 in conjunction with the 2006 Commonwealth Games she was part of Synchro Canada's AquaSquirts initiative, an outreach programme designed to develop basic swimming skills for boys and girls under the age of 11. At the end of the Games, she joined teammate Isabelle Rampling and coaches Julie Sauve and Denise Sauve in the small community of Eltham to help deliver the programme. (SIRC, March 2006)
