LEAVING THW KIEL 2013
His contract with THW Kiel is due to expire in 2013 and he will not be renewing his contract. There is a possibility that he may join AG Copenhagen, in Denmark. His family home is only 90km from Copenhagen. "The family situation is important to me. This might sound a bit like a cliche, but family has become more important." (handball-world.com, 05 Mar 2012)

NATIONAL TEAM RETIREMENT
He plans to retire from the Swedish national team after the London 2012 Olympics. "It is definitely now [2012]. I have not had time to talk to the coach about it, but from my side it feels that way. Right now it feels like a good time to end 10 years in the national team by finishing off with the experience of the Olympic Games. So I think it will be the last thing I do, yes."
