I saw flags from every country competing and all the athletes waved at the crowd and took photos of us as we did of them. Jelly Babies danced and a man dressed as "Beautiful Joe" (Chinese comic and games hero) made us all clap and make funny noises to the dancing. The night ended with a man in a wheelchair climbing to the top of the Stadium on a rope to light the Olympic Torch and fireworks went off all around us so loud I could feel them in my chest.....Phew!! 1.30am!!!! I get into bed ready for start of day 3, Swimming Events at 9.00am (I'm not really ready as I'm dog tired but its too good to miss).
