The London Roadshow visits Greenwich
Zoe, Sporting hopeful
I was so honoured to be invited down to the roadshow on Saturday in Woolwich. When I arrived at the market all I could see was a massive yellow pod in the middle of the market place that was already buzzing with people. The roadshow is such a great idea a

Everyone I met during the day really enjoyed testing their fitness and strength on the machines (including myself, I had to be pulled off the machines!); I even saw Nick Raynsford and the Mayor of Greenwich Cllr Sajid Jawaid trying out the interactive equipment! This colourful event really proves there is something for everyone.

Nick Raynsford, Member of Parliament for Greenwich and Woolwich was there and said, "The Olympic and Paralympic Games is so important and inspirational for people in this part of London. We are delighted that the roadshow is here in Woolwich to excite and motivate the residents of this borough."

Mayor of Greenwich Cllr Sajid Jawaid also went along. He said, "The roadshow is a wonderful way to bring to life the diverse range of positive opportunities and benefits that The Games will bring to London and the local residents of Greenwich - including business, culture, sport, jobs and skills." And I tend to agree with them both...
