Tennis and Athletics - what a day!

Day 4 in Beijing. Another early start as we are off to the Olympic Stadium this morning to watch the Tennis and Athletics. The tennis match we saw was the the mens France versus China game and France won. Both men were really good players and could get ar


We then decided to buy some souvenirs of our trip and gifts for my schoolfriends and teachers so we could all remember the Paralympics of 2008.

The village is massive! Miles and miles of space, different types of smaller stadiums and displays by companies that supported the games in 2008. I was really tired when we finished walking around and needed a rest before the bus came. I wasn't the only one, I saw a man fast asleep on the grass with a McDonalds box on his head!

That night we ate at the Olympic village and as it was a special meal supported by the Spanish team that night, we got dressed up for the occassion. Not too late to bed that night (11.00pm!) but I was really tired again and looking forward to the bus coming and being collected by the people from Visa.

Tomorrow, my last day... we get to see the Great Wall and an Emperors Tomb called Ming!
