From a guy who has left the corporate world to become a policeman, to a young aspiring 1,500 metres runner, we came together at 4am this morning to carry the Olympic Flame on its final journey to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
On a project such as ours, it is inevitable that we will have challenging days between now and 2012.
However, being here to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere around Vancouver and having the chance to carry the Olympic Flame has reinforced my unshakeable belief in the power of the Games to inspire people throughout the world.
