I'm just on my way back from an event which again brought home to me everything we hope to achieve in 2012.The East of England conference touched upon the long-term benefits we will see in many other sectors of the economy. 2012 are the UK's Games and tho

The message we took to Singapore was that London would inspire young people to enjoy sport. Now we can see it happening.

At today's conference Charlotte and other young leaders and 'ambassadors’ outlined their hopes for 2012 to an audience including sports administrators and businesses. We will do everything we can to maximize the benefits of the Games for people all over the country. To achieve this we need the help of the sorts of people at this conference today.
