Prime Minister tours Park by boat

This morning, I accompanied Prime Minister Tony Blair, Olympic Minister Tessa Jowell, Seb Coe and Sir Roy McNulty on their tour of the Olympic Park by water. Keen readers of the blog will remember that I took a similar tour a few weeks ago to check it out




The aim was to highlight the opportunities and challenges for improving the natural habitats in the Olympic Park and the prospects of using waterways to transport the construction materials.

This is part of the sustainable development strategy we released today.

Thanks to the recent cold snap, today was even colder than last time, but I hope that by 2012 we may have thawed out!
