Spring has officially started and there are now just over four months to go until the Games. The golden daffodils on the Olympic Park are looking beautiful as the gardens are preened and pruned.

Details of the film programme for the London 2012 Festival have also been revealed, with a wide array of new features and classic works set to captivate
audiences across the UK this summer.
BAFTA winner Asif Kapadia has been commissioned for the London 2012 Festival as
part of the BBC Films and Film4 project of four short films that showcase great
UK filmmaking talent.
