The London 2012 venue ExCeL has been playing host to a range of test events over the last week. The events are key for testing the London 2012 Organising Committee's event operations.
The London International Invitational Men's Foil competition took place over the weekend, with Great Britain taking gold in the team event.
The London Boxing International Invitational saw both male and female competitors taking part in four days of competition. Great Britain were amongst the medals, with golds for Sean McGoldrick in the Bantam (56kg) weight, Martin Ward in the Light (60kg) weight, Josh Taylor in the Light Welter (64kg) weight, Natash Jonas in the women's Light (57-60kg) weight and Savannah Marshall in the women's Middle (69-75kg) weight.
Finally the 2011 International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Pro Tour Grand Finals tournament took place. The event saw the world's best players compete for the Pro Tour title, and also served as the test event for London 2012.
Test events at ExCeL continue over this weekend with Judo and Taekwondo.
