Team GB archer Amy Oliver, pictured above, was part of a strong Great British team that also included five-time Olympian Alison Williamson.
The Olympic Park reached another milestone as the athletics track in the Olympic Stadium was unveiled, giving the world a glimpse of how it will look during the 2012 Games. London 2012 Organising Committee Chairman Seb Coe and IAAF World Championship silver medallist Hannah England ran the first lap of the completed track.
Olympic and Paralympic mascots, Wenlock and Mandeville, also helped celebrate the unveiling of the track in the Olympic Stadium. Here they are photographed with local schoolchildren who raced alongside some of Britain's best athletes on the brand new track.
