This week we released new aerial images showing the transformation of the Olympic Park, so I thought I'd take a look at some of these with you.

Firstly, check out this aerial view of the International Broadcast Centre, with the Hockey Centre in foreground. I love the vibrant colours on display here!

This next image shows Eton Manor, which will host the Wheelchair Tennis at the Paralympic Games. The new facilities are on the site of the old Eton Manor Sports Club,
which had been disused since 2001.

The Olympic Stadium will host the Athletics and Paralympic Athletics events next summer, as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. As this picture shows, it's already looking fantastic – so I can't wait to see it at Games time!

Here we see a view looking south through the Parklands. This image shows the progress made on the Olympic Park over the last year, and hints at how beautiful the green spaces will look during London 2012.

Finally, check out this great image of the Olympic Stadium, the Aquatics Centre, the Water Polo Arena and the Orbit. I really like the way you can see Canary Wharf in the background here.
That’s all this week folks. Have a great holiday season whatever get up to, and I'll see you in 2012!
