Blossoming Wild Cherry trees and lush green lawns burst into life on the Olympic Park this week, a lovely sight to be behold. Seeing the Park gradually becoming greener makes us realise how close the Games are getting.
This week LOCOG awarded the contract to record the 205 national anthems required for the London 2012 Victory Ceremonies (medal ceremonies) and Team Welcome Ceremonies to one of Britain's leading orchestras – the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO).
The first ever handball match has been played on the Olympic Park after LOCOG invited the Olympia Handball Club from Crystal Palace, south-east London, to play at the Handball Arena on Tuesday.
