See what has been happening at London 2012 this week...Construction progresses on the Handball Arena's lower tier of retractable seating, following completion of the sprung wooden field of play.

Construction is complete on the course for the London 2012 Mountain Bike competition at Hadleigh Farm, and the GB mountain bikers took the chance to tackle the course for the first time.

Hadleigh Farm complete

An estimated 5,000 Games Maker applicants in the North West will be interviewed between now and 16 April at the Digital World Centre in Salford Quays. The successful applicants will fill a wide range of London 2012 volunteer roles based at venues across the UK.
