Planning permission has been given for the construction of a new Polyclinic in the London 2012 Olympic Village. It will provide state-of-the-art healthcare and community facilities to athletes during the Games and then residents of the Village and the wider community after 2012.
Film maker, Destiny Ekaragha, and actors Nicholas Hoult and Georgia Groome helped launch the London 2012 short film competition, Film Nation: Shorts. The winners work will be screened at iconic venues of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, all I can say is - lights, camera, action!

London 2012 ticketing sign-up was launched by Paralympic Swimming champion Ellie Simmonds, presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley, and 400m athletics champion Christine Ohuruogu. We are inviting sports fans from all over the UK to ‘sign up’ for more details about London 2012's ticketing plans.
