During the London 2012 Games, Wheelchair Tennis will be held at Eton Manor. There will be a total of six medal events. Korie Homan of the Netherlands competes in the Wheelchair Tennis women's singles gold medal match during the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Gam

After featuring as an exhibition sport at the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games, Wheelchair Tennis was introduced as a full medal event at Barcelona in 1992. Twelve years later, Kay Forshaw of Great Britain reaches outside the edge of the court to return a shot during the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games.
