My 2012 journey begins
Jo, BT employee
I never win anything, so you can imagine my delight when I received the e-mail stating “Congratulations, you have won.”  Me and a number of colleagues were given the opportunity to tour the London 2012 Olympic Park site. As an employee of BT, the Official

After presentations from BT’s chairman Sir Michael Rake, Minister for the Olympics Tessa Jowell, Deputy Chair of LOCOG Sir Keith Mills and BT ambassadors Dame Kelly Holmes and Ade Adepitan, I was very privileged to be introduced to one of BT’s hopefuls, Nathaniel Craig. Nat hopes to be selected for the senior Paralmpic GB squad in his specialist sport – Wheelchair Basketball, and currently plays for the ‘Manchester Mavericks’. Nat and the other BT ambassadors for London 2012 hope to encourage and inspire the company’s employees and millions of customers to become volunteers, coaches and mentors to challenge everyone to give their best every day, in everything they do.

I’m very energised and proud to say that I work for BT at this very important time and I believe that the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a fantastic experience for everyone, wherever they are in the UK.
