As well as seeing an iconic piece of history from a past Olympic Games, staff could enter a free prize draw to win a weekend away to see the IOC Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, by giving their thoughts on what London 2012 means for the UK.

Results showed that 93 per cent of those surveyed think London 2012 will inspire young people to choose sport or physical activity. An impressive 92 per cent think London 2012 will create new opportunities for business start-ups, business growth and new jobs across the UK, and 92 per cent of staff also think London 2012 is transforming the heart of East London.

The response to the tour has been great and has really inspired Lloyds TSB staff around the company to put our Partnership with London 2012 at the heart of what we do. It doesn't matter whether our staff are in a branch, contact centre or department – everyone wants to do their bit and be a part of London 2012.

The tour finished at Gresham Street on 22 August just before the Handover of the Olympic Flag to London took place in Beijing.

When it's not lighting up the Group Headquarters reception in the City, the Torch supports local community events across the country.
