I was really impressed by Jean Tomlin, the HR Director, who is now responsible for the volunteer workforce - by her enthusiasm by what she had to say and by her emphasis on getting it done. I was left with a sense of complete confidence that the background work on volunteering is moving in exactly the right direction.

The other guests commented to me that it was also really good to hear how the work put in by so many people from the volunteering sector so far is so central to the delivery of the Games.
