Endorsed and actively supported by the likes of Louis Walsh, Shane Lynch and Tommy Bowe, ImagineAction invites young people to broaden their skills through a range of workshops that build a bridge between arts and sports.
What does that look like?
Well, on the strength of today's witty, assured, accomplished and engaging debut performance by approximately 40 young sports people, I'd say the sky's the limit.
Today's choreography was so clearly inspired by the Games - Winter and Summer - with particular thanks to the NI Bobsleigh Team for one particular component.
The London 2012 Cultural Olympiad has always been about more than just London and this, our newest member, does us proud. As the project progresses through masterclasses and workshops, I look forward to hearing from the young participants on their journey. They have already impressed me massively, as have the team behind the project.
