Site workers are currently working on the south stand of the Stadium. Here you can see them preparing one of the 40 metre long rakers for the controlled lift above the podium level of the Stadium:

Workers move rakers into place

The rakers fit together to form the skeleton of the upper tier seating. This picture, taken late at the end of a wonderfully sunny day on the Park, shows that once the cranes have lifted the steel into place it is the site workers, elevated by Cherry Pickers (hoists for working at height), who secure the steel to the Stadium. A process that will be repeated on the south stand 112 times over the next nine months:
