Getting ready for Open House....
Alice, ODA Marketing Manager
We're gearing up for Open House London 2008 weekend on the Olympic Park site this week and one of our site tour buses for the weekend has had a London 2012 makeover:

London Open House is the city's largest architecture festival, attracting 350,000 visitors to over 600 buildings in just 48 hours across London. As part of Open House, London 2012 will be showcasing the Olympic Park as a site which represents future design and architectural interest to Londoners. Nearly 3,000 people have booked to tour the Park over the weekend.

During their tour of the Park, visitors will be able to see the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre being built as well as preparation being made on the other key London 2012 venues.

When it's not Open House, tours of the Olympic Park operate on a regular basis each week and provide a window into all the great work that's going on to build the London 2012 Olympic Park. As construction activity and on-site traffic increases it's important that our visits bus is clearly identifiable to both our security teams and all other Olympic Park road users and what better way to make this happen than give it a splash of London 2012 colour and vibrancy.

The bus gets a few finishing touches:

When transforming the bus, all the inks used were environmentally sensitive and free of Volatile Organic carbon Compounds (VOCs). This means that they are kind to the environment and won't harm the atmosphere.
