We spoke to a lot of visitors during the day who wanted to find out what Merton would be doing for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Merton council is working hard to maximize the opportunities within the borough that the London 2012 will bring and there will be all kinds of projects going on within the borough that you can play a part in. We’d also like to encourage residents to embrace the Cultural Olympiad which comes to Merton when the Olympic torch is handed over later this year.

While everyone we met enjoyed testing their strength and fitness on the machines, or finding out more about how The Games will benefit London, it seems for that most people 2012 still seems a long way off. Four years passes quickly though so now is the time to find out how you can make the most of the opportunities London 2012 will bring.
