We are already supplying most of the major contractors on the Park, but with the evolution of the project, new venue and infrastructure contracts are being won all the time, so it creates more opportunities for us.

Naturally, I am constantly keeping a close eye on which of the major construction companies are winning the contracts and where opportunities may arise for me to do more business. The London 2012 Business Network helps me to keep on top of the new opportunities for us to tender for.

I have been involved with work visiting and holding meetings with contractors and sub-contractors, to promote our services and make sure they are aware of what we can offer them. Once customers have an account set up, I am on hand to deal with any invoice, delivery or order problems.

It has been a massive opportunity to be able to be involved at a small level with a massive project such as this. There are many positives and every day is different. There are challenging and new opportunities to meet people and conduct current and develop new business.

I hope this is just the start, and that we will reap the true benefits that this fantastic project and opportunity has to offer not only London and the UK.

Watching the Beijing 2008 Games has been truly inspirational and knowing that London will be just as, if not better than, these Games reminds me of what a privilege it is to have my own little input to such a fantastic legacy.
