At our destination, we found the cast and crew hard at work in their make-shift rehearsal space. It was certainly a long way from the Royal Opera House, where some of the dancers perform.

The rain was depressingly constant, so performing the show - which needs an outdoor space - was completely out of the question. Instead, London 2012 culture chief Bill Morris, Head of Ceremonies Martin Green and the show's creative director Stephen Powell talked through some of the ideas behind it.

We can't give them away here, of course - but there's only a few hours left before all is revealed.
