At the House of Lords we did a presentation and talked about what we do as part of the Construction Crew. We also spoke about all the people we have met over the past year, such as London 2012 Organising Committee Chair, Seb Coe and Prime Minister, Gordon Brown. We also spoke about the life skills we have learnt, such as teamwork and leadership.

The building looked amazing!! Big Ben, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament made my eyes pop out and my mouth drop. It was as beautiful inside as it was on the outside.

In the function room the tables were laid with teapots and scones with jam and clotted cream. There were all different types of cakes too and cucumber, tomato and salmon sandwiches.

Thinking about the presentation made us feel nervous, but when we got into it, it was good. The audience responded very well to the speech and that made us feel better.

Overall, it was an honor to be at the House of Lords and it is a trip that we will remember forever!!!
