Next we met again in Singapore during the bid for the Games (I was one of the young people chosen to go along)…I’m hoping we’ll be regularly meeting at 2012 events such as the one today!
Daley told me he loved coming to events like this one because he got to see old friends (like me!) and said he couldn’t believe how much I’d grown up… awww… He went on to say how he thought the 2012 Games were going to unbelievable and spoke about how he was involved in mentoring and passing on his experience to younger athletes.
After a quick poke of his biceps I asked him if still worked out and played other sports, he said he prefers watching sports nowadays and is quite interested in cycling. Finally I asked him what he was most looking forward to during the 2012 Games and he replied saying it would be (hopefully) unveiling a statue of Seb!
