In particular the information available in the pod was very useful as it allowed visitors to focus on job opportunities that will arise through London 2012 and more importantly how to realise these chances.
After spending an educational ten minutes examining the information screens, one visitor spent a good 45 minutes on the BATAK hand/eye coordination machine attempting to beat the top score. His children were an enthusiastic audience until they got distracted by racing each other on the rowing machines!
As London 2012 continues to edge ever nearer it becomes increasingly important for the people of London to identify how they as an individual, the residents in their borough, and London as a city can benefit from the opportunities and avenues that are becoming available.
The Get Set London roadshow makes this possible for people to do in a fun, relaxed yet informative way. All of the visitors who attended Hounslow discovered something new about what London 2012 has to offer them – on yet another leg of the roadshow’s London tour!
