A different kind of football at Wembley

On Sunday the Amercian NFL brought their first ever league match outside the United States to London  - a clash between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Giants at the new Wembley Stadium. I was lucky enough to attend the game with London 2012 colleague


It was also interesting to note how successfully the game was received in London generally, not least because of its estimated £20 million contribution to the economy.
So we may not go for NFL style razzmatazz, but we will  be attending many more events across the sporting calendar to learn lessons for 2012.
