'I challenge you to eat the eyeball'
Reece, Beijing Games junior reporter
Day 3 continues...This evening we were taken to a restaurant that served typical Chinese food. Some of it I recognised like slices of tender beef and deep fried duck....some of it I didn't recognise and had to ask what it was. There was this bowl of what

The last course was fish and as I was feeling brave as none of it tasted bad plus I was getting the hang of it now, I thought I'd have a bit of fun and challenged on of my new friends to eat the eyes of the fish!! His name was Gary and he was from Ireland. Gary said yes and I went first. I was getting pretty good at using chopsticks by now and popped out the eye and chewed it down! everybody clapped and Gary went a little white but quickly swallowed his eyeball !! The people in the restaurant all clapped and we got ready to leave for the hotel.
It was nearly midnight now and the end of another great day.

Tomorrow I'm ready for another exciting day starting at 8.00am at the Olympic stadium, this time to watch the Tennis and do some shopping at the same time. Some souvenirs of the trip are a must!
