What this site contains

From now until 2012, this site will keep you up to date with everything happening around the London 2012 project – from the latest progress in the Olympic Park to information about plans for the Games themselves.

And it will bring you all the action around the Games – sporting and cultural – from the handover to London in 2008 until the end of 2012.

It covers the work of both The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Limited (“LOCOG”) and the Olympic Delivery Authority (“ODA”).

We view new media channels such as the web and mobile devices as very important ways to communicate what is happening with the Games.

We will be developing this site in exciting and ambitious ways over the next few years, bringing you unique content, social networking opportunities and new ways of getting involved with London 2012.
